                Kasun Kalhara is a renowned Sri Lankan musician, singer, and songwriter celebrated for his soulful voice and meaningful lyrics. During his musical career, Kasun has released three albums, Haritha Nimnaye, Radical Premaya and Romantic Opera.

His mother Malani Bulathsinhala, was a veteran vocalist and his father H.M.Jayawardena was a renowned composer as well.

Kasun’s music can best be described as a fusion of classical, pop and contemporary styles. His music showcases his deep emotions, strong poetic lyrics, and clever instrumentation. His work innovates by integrating Sri Lankan sounds and music into other, more popular musical styles.

In a world full of music, Kasun Kalhara's work has a different mould for me. His works are an eye-opener, a solace, encouraging, even provocative and enable some serious introspection about life. Besides being my favorite singer, he is someone who has contributed into my life through his wonderful gifts.

As it happens, I think the music of Kasun Kalhara will inspire future generations the same way it has inspired me. He is a diamond in the rough, as far as the Sri Lankan music industry is concerned and I consider myself fortunate to be able to appreciate his talent.
